Due to a manufacturing problem on the disc, the warble problem on John Waite's "Ignition/No Brakes" CD has been corrected in the new batch from One Way Records. 14 de dez. de 2006 · John Waite's "Ignition" is a great CD. I don't love all the songs on it, but the songs I do love I REALLY love. I had this cassette forever, and I am so glad that the CD is available because hearing several of the songs on "Ignition" brought a smile to my face and had me singing along. If you like John Waite, you HAVE to get this.

When Cain left the Babys to join Journey in 1981, the group disbanded. Waite began his solo career the following year, releasing Ignition on Chrysalis. While the album generated the minor hit "Change," his second album, 1984's No Brakes, became a genuine Top Ten hit on the strength of the number one single "Missing You."

It's not his best solo album because nothing can top his "No brakes" album .
