  1. Thomas Hoo, Baron Hoo and Hastings KG (c. 1396 – 13 February 1455) was an English courtier. William Camden called him vir egregius, literally an "outstanding man". The Barony created in his name had no successors, and he had no male issue, but four daughters by two marriages, three elder half-sisters and a younger half-brother. He was a direct ancestor of Anne Boleyn.

In 1460 William, lord Hastings, had K.G. Sir Thomas had two brothers, John and William, and one sister, 'Margaret, who married the wealthy Thomas St. Clere, from which marriage the family of Gage is descended.'

  3. 26 de jul. de 2021 · (fn. 49) William was succeeded by his son Thomas, (fn. 50) and he by his son, also Thomas, who married first Elizabeth Wickingham and secondly Eleanor daughter of Leo Welles, kt., on whom he settled the manor in 1445. (fn. 51) In 1447 he was created Baron of Hoo and Hastings. (fn. 52) He died without male issue in February 1454–5.

Sir William Hoo (1335–1410), son of Thomas Hoo and Isabel St Leger, married firstly Alice de St Omer (d.1375), a daughter and co-heiress of Thomas de St Omer (d.1364) of Mulbarton, near Norwich, in Norfolk, a Justice and Sheriff of Norfolk and Suffolk, by his first wife Petronilla (or Pernell) Malemayns, a daughter of Sir Nicholas de Malemayns (d.1349), of Ockley in Surrey.

  5. 27 de ago. de 2022 · Thomas was the son of Sir Thomas Hoo (ca. 1370 – Luton Hoo, Bedfordshire, 23 August 1420) and wife (m. 1395) Eleanor de Felton (Litcham, Norfolk, 1378 – 8 August 1400). He succeeded his father in 1420, inheriting the family's ancestral home of Luton Hoo in Bedfordshire as well as Mulbarton, Norfolk and other estates.
