Such records are not available for the years before 1961. Since that year there have been no fatalities other than the deaths of the two Commonwealth officer cadets who died last week following a patrol and endurance exercise.I wish to express my deep regret at their deaths and my sympathy with their relatives. Mons Officer Cadet School was a British military training establishment for officer cadets in Aldershot from 1942 to 1972, when it was closed and all officer training concentrated at Sandhurst. Until 1960, it was known as the Mons Officer Cadet Training Unit .
