After enlisting Prince Albert's principal artistic advisor Ludwig Gruner to build The Mausoleum, Queen Victoria remained heavily involved in all elements of its design.
Frogmore Plantation is an historic, privately owned cotton plantation complex, located near Ferriday in Concordia Parish, Louisiana. Since 1997, Frogmore Plantation is a working farm, tourist attraction featuring many structures, and educational center. Buildings on the site include a cotton gin, and a plantation manor house named Gillespie. [2]

Frogmore's Post Office was permanently closed in 2004. Frogmore Community College is on the south-eastern edge of Yateley and includes a sports and leisure complex. Yateley Common Country Park borders the district and, together with the military land around Gibraltar Barracks at Minley, offers access to many tracks and bridleways across extensive heathland and woodland.
