  1. This is the 18 th year that QS has published its World University Rankings. They are based on six indicators and were compiled by considering more than 1,300 universities. In this latest ranking, Exeter’s rank improved in four of the six indicators – academic reputation, citations per faculty, international faculty and international students.

  6. Exeter is also rated 137 th globally by the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2023, and took 153 rd place globally in the 2024 QS World University Rankings. In the 2023 Academic Ranking of World Universities, it placed in the 151-200 group.
