12 de mar. de 2021 · Leopold Kronecker (1823–1891) was a German mathematician who worked on number theory and algebra. He is considered a pre-intuitionist, being only close to intuitionism because he rejected Cantor’s Set Theory. He was, in fact, more radical than the intuitionists.

Leopold Kronecker wurde am 7. Dezember 1823 in Liegnitz, Schlesien (heute Legnica, Polen) als Sohn einer wohlhabenden jüdischen Kaufmannsfamilie geboren. Sein Mathematik-Lehrer am städtischen Gymnasium war Ernst Eduard Kummer (1810-1893), der die herausragende mathematische Begabung seines vielseitig talentierten Schülers erkannte und förderte.
