Bruce, Marjorie. Bruce, Marjorie (d. 1316). Eldest daughter of King Robert I, and joint founder of the royal house of Stewart (Stuart). Born before 1297, she was the only child of her father's first wife Isabel, daughter of Donald, earl of Mar. Her short life was blighted by personal misfortune.
