  3. Pamela Mitford. Pamela Mitford was the second eldest Mitford sister, often called "Pam" by many and "Woman" by her siblings. She was born on the 25 th of November 1907. The English poet Sir John Betjeman was in love with her for a time and described her as the "Rural Mitford." She married and divorced Derek Jackson, a millionaire physicist.
