Love (German: Liebe) is a 1919 German silent film directed by Manfred Noa and starring Reinhold Schünzel and Tzwetta Tzatschewa. [ 1 ] The film's sets were designed by the art director Karl Machus .
Originally released in 1918 and 1919 as 5-reel films, three of the films were edited down to 3 reels, and re-released in 1922 as "Pathé Playlets". [ 6 ] [ 7 ] [ 8 ] Carolyn of the Corners , Love's final film with Pathé, was released after the first films of her subsequent Vitagraph contract were released, as were the Pathé Playlets.
