Leslie Uggams (born May 25, 1943, New York City) is an American actress and singer, known for her work in Hallelujah, Baby! and the miniseries Roots. Uggams appeared opposite Ryan Reynolds in Deadpool (2016), portraying Blind Al, the sharp, foul-mouthed roommate of Wade Wilson.
