6 de mar. de 2022 · In the early seventeenth century, the castle owner Alexander Desmier d'Olbreuse (1608–1660) married in first nuptials Jacqueline Poussard De Vandre. From their union were born four children, Eleanor. He then married Jeanne Beranger Du Beugnon, and had two sons, Henri and Jean.
Éléonore Marie was born at the Castle of Olbreuse in Deux-Sèvres, France into a Huguenot family of relatively low nobility. She was for a time a lady-in-waiting at the French court in Paris. In 1664 she became the mistress of George William, Duke of Brunswick-Lüneburg and received the title Lady of Harburg .

Elle est dame de Harburg , comtesse puis duchesse de Wilhelmsburg, et épouse de Georges-Guillaume de Brunswick-Lunebourg ( 1624 - 1705 ). À partir de 1676, elle est officiellement duchesse de Brunswick-Lüneburg-Celle.
Éléonore Marie d'Esmier d'Olbreuse (3 January 1639 – 5 February 1722) was the wife of George William, Duke of Brunswick-Lüneburg, and grandmother of George II of Great Britain. She was Countess of Wilhelmsburg from 1674 and Duchess of Brunswick-Lüneburg from 1676. She was also the great-grandmother of Frederick the Great.
