Technicians and scientists at an Alpine research station discover a glacier of blood, high in the mountains. Testing the red liquid oozing from the ice, they discover a new alien organism with the astonishing capability of transforming the local wildlife into horrific hybrids and monster mutations.

As crevassing events create deep fissures in the glacier, liquid is forced up and out of the subglacial hydrologic system.
26 de ago. de 2014 · Blood Glacier is not some new classic or anything like that. However, the enjoyed the movie thoroughly. It takes inspiration from some old classics such as Carpenter's The Thing and Raimi's The Evil Dead. It resembles too Fessenden's recent The Last Winter a bit. In the end, though, Blood Glacier is a work of its own.

25 de jul. de 2014 · Here Blood Glacier becomes the modern equivalent of a cheesy makeup effects horror of the 1980s – something like The Kindred (1986) or Blue Monkey (1987) might be a comparable example. On the other hand, you keep expecting all of this to mount to something amazing, or at the very least a gruelling to-the-last-man siege.
