Fine B crime picture, one of several films based on stories in J. Edgar Hoover's book Persons in Hiding. I haven't read the book but I have seen all of the movies. Sounds like a real page turner. In this one, a gangster (Anthony Quinn) is set free on parole due to some shenanigans with a member of the parole board who is on the take.
