She was a younger sister of Queen consort Elizabeth Woodville to whom she served as a lady-in-waiting. Anne was married twice;[1] first to William Bourchier, Viscount Bourchier, and secondly to George Grey, 2nd Earl of Kent.
When Anne Woodville, Countess of Kent was born in 1438, in North Fambridge, Essex, England, her father, Sir Richard Woodville, 1st Earl Rivers, was 33 and her mother, Jacquetta of Luxembourg, Duchess of Bedford and Countess Rivers, was 23. She married Sir William Bourchier before 15 August 1467.
