Founded in 1963 in Mbabane, Waterford Kamhlaba United World College of Southern Africa (WK UWCSA) was the first multiracial school in Southern Africa. Today the school has over 600 students representing 60 nationalities, taught by staff from 18 countries.
Waterford Kamhlaba UWCSA, one of the first multi-racial schools in southern Africa, aims at going off the grid by 2030, as part of its strategic goals. As it celebrates 60 years of existence this year, the school is accelerating its sustainability efforts.
