Sarah Lennox (1705-1751), Duchess of Richmond and Lennox was married to Charles Lennox, 2nd Duke of Richmond. She was born Sarah Cadogan to William Cadogan, 1st Earl Cadogan and Margaret Cecilia Munter. Sarah was the Lady of the Bedchamber to Queen Caroline from 1724 to 1737. Reference:
Sarah Lennox was born 14 February 1745 to Charles Lennox, 2nd Duke of Richmond (1701-1750) and Sarah Cadogan (1705-1751) and died August 1826 of unspecified causes. She married Thomas Bunbury (1740-1821) 1762 . She married George Napier (1751-1804) 27 August 1781 .
Charles Lennox, Earl of March, later 2nd Duke of Richmond and 2nd Duke of Lennox, who married Lady Sarah Cadogan and had children; Lady Anne Lennox, who married Willem van Keppel, 2nd Earl of Albemarle, and had children. The duke also had an illegitimate daughter by his mistress, Jacqueline de Mézières. The duchess died in 1722, aged about 51.
