He was a younger son of the first Duke of Norfolk, but inherited his father's earldom of Norfolk (but not the dukedom) when his elder brother rebelled against King Henry IV and was executed before reaching the age of inheritance.

  3. 27 de out. de 2022 · John de Mowbray, 4th Duke of Norfolk was born on 18 October 1444.2 He was the son of John de Mowbray, 3rd Duke of Norfolk and Eleanor Bourchier.3 He married Lady Elizabeth Talbot, daughter of General John Talbot, 1st Earl of Shrewsbury and Lady Margaret Beauchamp, before 27 November 1448.3 He died on 16 January 1475/76 at age 31.4.
