Tshepo Motsepe (born 17 June 1953) is a South African physician and businesswoman. She is the First Lady of South Africa, as the wife of Cyril Ramaphosa, the President of South Africa. She is the older sister of Bridgette Radebe and her brother is Patrice Motsepe. [1]
Dr Tshepo Motsepe is the spouse of the President of the Republic of South Africa, H.E. Cyril Ramaphosa. Born in Soweto and raised in the rural villages of Mathibestad near Hammanskraal and her ancestral home, Mmakau in the North West province, Dr Motsepe is the eldest of seven siblings and a mother to four children.
Tshepo Motsepe was the Chairperson of the Gauteng Health Department’s Accreditation Committee. She is the current Patron of the nonprofit organization Early Care Foundation. The First Lady is the Patron of the South African Civil Society for Women’s, Adolescents’ and Children’s Health (SACSoWACH).
