26 de jan. de 2022 · Sammy Sosa hit 609 home runs during an 18-year major league career. He was one of the baseball's biggest stars during his time as a player, but his career has been tainted by allegations of steroid usage, denying him a place in the Hall of Fame .
Sosa's much ballyhooed first season in Baltimore ended in disappointing fashion as he finished the last month on the disabled list with a lesion under his right big toe. Sosa did pass Frank Robinson for fifth on the All-Time home run list with a solo shot off Texas' Chris Young on July 27.
