The title to "Riot Squad" is misleading as it has nothing to do with riots but is actually a story about a doctor going undercover with the evil Grosso gang. The film begins with nice Dr. Tom asking Mary to become his wife. You also soon meet the winner of the Dick Nixon look-a-like contest, Dan the cop.
Riot Squad plot. dr. Tom Brandon is an idealistic young GP. When his best friend, a police captain, is killed by mobsters, Tom offers his services to the authorities in hopes of bringing these mobsters to justice. Tom goes incognito as the gangsters' doctor. He gains the trust of Jim Grosso, the gangster boss and owner of the 'Golden Slipper' .
