7 de ago. de 2023 · Chief John Blount served as a guide and fought alongside Andrew Jackson’s troops with more than 1,000 Creek warriors in the decisive battle of the Red Stick War at Horseshoe Bend in March 1814. Chief Blount’s wife and three of his children were killed.

Blount's criticism follows a rule change that the AWFC Board of Trustees released last week.

There is no actual evidence in the way of deeds, charters, grants, or land ownership that Eleanor Beauchamp was the mother of Walter Blount, or that a Blount-Beauchamp marriage even occurred.
