  7. In this vast collection he writes about everything, really, but does gravitate around the twin suns of nature (hence tulips) and love (hence...chimneys?). If nothing else, his wordplay is at the very least evocative of the places and things he describes: brothels, Paris, New York City, spring, death etc.
