The Chapel has been the focal point for Christian worship since before St John’s came into existence. Linking St John’s early history with its 21st-century presence, the Library & Study Centre lies at the heart of College life. It provides excellent access to study resources, a welcoming space and friendly service, supporting the work of all members of College as well as researchers and guests.
St John’s has an excellent reputation as a college in which to study geography. As well as the Fellows (Tutorial Fellows Ian Klinke, Hashem Abushama, Jennifer Richards, Professorial Fellow Gillian Rose and Emeritus Research Fellows Linda McDowell and Jack Langton) , there is a good mix of undergraduate, MSc and DPhil Geographers in College.
Average intake: 7-8. At St John's, undergraduate students enjoy a fruitful mixture of small group and tutorial teaching.
