  1. 1 de dez. de 1990 · Dust tracks on the Road is autobiographical and in its pages we meet the real life poeple who provided the models for many of the rich characters in her novels. I would recommend starting to read Hurston with a novel such as "their Eyes Were Watching God" or Jonah's Gourd Vine rather than this autobiography which is much more interesting after having met the characters they inspired.
