King Kong is a 2005 epic adventure monster film co-written, produced, and directed by Peter Jackson. It is the ninth entry in the King Kong franchise and the second remake of the 1933 film of the same title, the first being the 1976 remake. The film stars Naomi Watts, Jack Black, and Adrien Brody.
Andy Serkis (born April 20 1964) is a British actor who portrayed Lumpy and Kong (motion capture and voice) in Peter Jackson's 2005 version of King Kong. He is also famous for portraying Gollum/Sméagol and Caesar the chimpanzee in The Lord of the Rings, Planet of the Apes franchise and The Hobbit.
