This is the easiest way, in my opinion, but may run worse in the end because emulation is less stable than a native PC game. While installing, Select 3DS MAX 9x 32-bit and press Next. Check all the checkboxes on page 2 of installation. Skip the last page and continue to install. Launch 3D Ripper DX. The developers get exactly the same amount of money as if you pirated it though, so unless piracy = stealing in your mind (even though you aren't taking anything away and are not depriving anyone of their income), it really doesn't matter. The game is not available anymore due to expired licenses.
16 de jun. de 2022 · Install the game on a Windows laptop/desktop. Install the update patch on the laptop/desktop version. Install the Remastered project on the laptop/desktop version. Install the no-cd on the laptop/desktop version. Copy the game folder from the laptop/desktop to your steam deck and replace/remove all the files of the Lutris installation.

I keep crashing half way through the story, and I can't figure out a way around it. Maybe the version I downloaded wasn't the most compatible version for PS2 emulators? If I may ask, where did you download your Scarface version?
