9 de mar. de 2020 · Also in i30/elantra FD and GD series (2007-2016) , i40 folding mirrors. I had to cannibalise a spare 2010 i30 Touring mirror for that gear to sort an i40 mirror out. I found that the folding motordid not time out so in with a cracked gear it just continuously ran meaning I had to isolate it until I fixed that gear. bestnoodle5252 and helmi_zr1.

I need to remove part of the dash to install a manual switch and feed 2 cables through the firewall into the engine room. My questions are: 1.
22 de fev. de 2024 · I have an Hyundai i30 SR 2016, the interior lights no don't work when any door is open. You can manually turn them on. I have taken to an auto electrician and he cant seem to find out what is wrong. He told me that everything says its working, but for some reason its not. So I'm hoping someone here can help.
3 de jan. de 2024 · While browsing the forum, I noticed that many Hyundai cars (including my Hyundai i30 2016 model) have issues with window switches. The switch wants to lower the window but doesn't want to raise it. I removed the door panel and reached the switch, but I couldn't lift the plate as it seems to be held by this button (highlighted in the picture).

I am working on changing some of the parameters on my I30 CRDI ECU so for safety sake would like to play around with a second hand ECU in case I stuff it up. My question is there a special setup procedure when replacing the ECU with a second hand one or will they just plug in and work.

It was surprisingly easy and I thought I'd lay it out in some pics in case anyone else with this issue wanted to try it themselves. Found the part for $46. Dealer/mechanic might want $250-300 for the repair.

21 de jun. de 2016 · If you have a 5 door model with electric windows on the rear doors you can confirm by swapping one of the rear switches to the front passenger door. If you don't have rear elec windows you could do a bypass test on the passenger door switch connector to see if that makes the window work again. Reply Like.
8 de jul. de 2022 · 1) DISCONNECT THE BATTERY (but not necessary if you are careful ) 2) TAKE OFF THE DOOR COVER (there are videos on yt - "Hyundai I30 Door Panel Removal Window motor regulator replacement" DFC Garage) 3) DISCONNECT THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS. The driver's door has two. Passenger one. They cannot be confused.
