23 de jun. de 2020 · I don't say that Photoshop is bad (It's great), but GIMP fits better my typical workflow. Short answer: It's good. Long answer: I've used Photoshop for a while now (4~ years) and while I had some minor problems using it I got accostumed to it. I've used Gimp here and there but only recently I've really tried using it.

I am not seeing anything about emotet being mentioned but I would do the following: Make sure the SHA256 on their site below the download matches the one you uploaded to Virustotal (you can also see if it is signed with a valid signature).
23 de fev. de 2021 · Gimp does not install extra software unless you download a shitty version from cnet or something. Your screen and tabs blacking out sounds distinctly to me like a graphics card issue. I've had my graphics card "die" for a few seconds before and that's pretty much exactly what happens.

18 de mai. de 2022 · If using linux that does mean you need a working Gimp python installation (Windows should be OK, I do not know about MacOS) Export your image as a tiff or jpeg CMYK file. You can import a CMYK image for editing but remember Gimp is a RGB editor and all editing is in that color model.
25 de mar. de 2024 · I have a 13" MacBook Pro 2015 with MacOS Monterey. The newest version that was compatible for my mac was 2.10.36. I downloaded this version specifically: Gimp-2.10.36-x86_64.dmg. Hope that helps anyone with an older mac looking to download GIMP.
14 de ago. de 2023 · Creating a new theme can be done by duplicating that Warm folder example and changing the assignments in the adjustments folder. Restart GIMP and a new theme to test should be there. Hopefully it's understandable enough for people to make their own themes, if they're into that. It can get quite fiddly.
