5 de out. de 2019 · I am new to Gimp. I would like to warp an image such that it fills the closed path (closed path and imported image is shown in the image below). The given closed path has a shape of truncated pie. The outer diameter of truncated pie is 15 units and inner diameter of it is 5 units, and the angle of that pie is 60 degrees.
For example I have 100 images with size 100 X 100. What I need to do on each one: 1. scale to 75 x 75. 2. export as png ( with the same name ) 3. close the original without saving. thanks ! gimp. actions. batch-processing.

2 de fev. de 2019 · Yes. GIMP's native file format is XCF. It's the format you should use to save your original work for future editability (whether it's being used as a template or not). It's a lossless format, and it preserves all layers, and editable text layers. Although GIMP also supports PSD to some degree, you should use XCF for full compatibility with GIMP.

25 de ago. de 2016 · Select > Invert + Cut. Bucket Fill Tool Outside. Select All + Copy. Undo until Original Image + Paste. Layer > Anchor Layer. Fuzzy Select Outside + Cut. Use the fuzzy select (magic wand tool) to select the interior. Click and hold on any white/grey point inside, then drag until most of the inside is selected. Use Select>Grow set to 4px or so.

Next move the layers so that they do not overlap. Open file1.jpeg using Gimp. Save file1.jpeg in the native Gimp format. Say we save it to file1.xcf. Expand the canvas.

The easiest way to do that is to not rescale your image until you have saved your work. When you have finished your work, save it as an XCF file. This file should be considered as your original artwork.

Using the menu: Edit --> Stroke Selection. In the dialogue box, leave everything selected as default, and set the line width and color.
