Just started Doom Patrol last night but I’ve read it’s got connections to Titans, which I wasn’t really interested in watching. I’m not really used to shows connecting to other shows, that’s part of how I never got into the Arrowverse. But if I need context or anything I can give titans a shot.
The origins of the team is a tad wishy-washy, as Haney only helped with writing a few issues and Drake similarly came up with a bit here and there. To pay respect to all three gentlemen who came up with the story, though, we’ll classify it as the Drake/Haney/Premiani Era. II Arnold Drake/Bob Haney/Bruno Premiani II.

23 de nov. de 2023 · Doom Patrol TV Series Finale Spoilers Discussion. Isn't Immortus still a threat since the Doom Patrol didn't kill or eliminate her? Also, what happened to all the butts exactly? Did Immortus make them part of her band or did she kill them, too? Vote.
13 de jan. de 2021 · On the other hand, if you have read and enjoyed the Doom Patrol comic, you will love the TV show. It very much keeps to the spirit of the comic. Yes, absolutely. It’s not a superhero show per se, it’s much more a series of character and genre studies, but it is fantastic.
13 de jun. de 2022 · Totally not necessary to watch for the sake of missing something but just thought I'd let you know. Thing about Doom Patrol is, it's not your typical superhero show. It's more of a cinema then your action packed superhero film. So a lot of it is character building, background, or just dialogue. So just keep in mind that it is on the slower side.
The team, tired of being stuck in Doom Manor decides to visit the local town while The Chief is away. However, this seemingly harmless field trip leads to some grave consequences, including an encounter with the mysterious and powerful Mr. Nobody.

21 de ago. de 2013 · That's one of the reasons why Doom Patrol was so cool, because they tackled the existential, the absurd, the abstract. Like the penultimate issue implies when they're fighting Candlemaker in Dream Manhattan, they fight for the soul(s) of humanity, the collective subconscious.
