    The Cambridge University Press originated from letters patent granted to the University of Cambridge by Henry VIII in 1534, making it the oldest university press in the world. They began publishing books in the year 1584, however the very first known logo dates back from the 17th century and was designed by the bohemian illustrator Wenceslaus Holla...

    Around 1900, the publisher began using the University's coat of arms printed in their books.

    This logo was seen in the front of the book The Victorian Age by William Ralph Inge.
