Paulerspury is a civil parish and small village in South Northamptonshire, England. It is approximately 3 miles (5 km) south of Towcester and 8 miles (13 km) north of Milton Keynes along the A5 road (which follows the course of the Roman Road of Watling Street).
PAULERSPURY. Based on the inclosure award of 1821. Outside the two villages, most of the land of the parish was occupied by common arable and meadow until both Paulerspury and Heathencote were inclosed under an Act of 1819.
Paulerspury was an important centre for LACE-MAKING. In the 19th century the trade was dominated by a lace-dealer named Elizabeth Rose and her son Edward, and there were at least 2 other lace-dealers in the village, Mary Smith and William Cross.
