Ernst Cassirer (Breslau na Silésia, atualmente Wroclaw, Polônia, 28 de julho de 1874 – Nova Iorque, 13 de abril de 1945) foi um filósofo alemão de origem judaica que pertenceu à Escola de Marburgo, liderada por Hermann Cohen (1842-1918), sendo seu mais destacado representante.

Ernst Alfred Cassirer (* 28. Juli 1874 in Breslau; † 13. April 1945 in New York) war ein deutscher Philosoph aus der Familie Cassirer . Cassirer forschte und lehrte zunächst in Berlin, ab 1919 als Philosophieprofessor an der Universität Hamburg. Weil er Jude war, emigrierte er am 12. März 1933, sechs Wochen nach der Machtergreifung des NS-Regimes.
