Edwina Sandys MBE (born 22 December 1938) is an English artist and sculptor. She is the granddaughter of Winston Churchill.
Duncan Edwin Duncan-Sandys, Baron Duncan-Sandys CH, PC (/ s æ n d z /; 24 January 1908 – 26 November 1987), was a British politician and minister in successive Conservative governments in the 1950s and 1960s. He was a son-in-law of Winston Churchill and played a key role in promoting European unity after World War II
During the past 40 years Edwina has created art of international acclaim that includes sculpture and paintings. For the 1979 United Nations’ Year of the Child, she created three different monumental sculptures, installed at UN centers in New York, Geneva and Vienna.
