What is Mayer Multiple? The Mayer Multiple was created by Trace Mayer as a way to analyze the price of Bitcoin in a historical context. It does NOT tell whether to buy, sell or hold. The Mayer Multiple is the multiple of the current Bitcoin price over the 200-day moving average.
The Mayer Multiple is used for technical analysis in Bitcoin investing. It is used in order to determine whether Bitcoin is overbought, fairly priced, or undervalued. The Mayer Multiple is calculated by taking the price of Bitcoin and dividing it by the 200 day moving average value.

The Mayer multiple is calculated by taking the price of Bitcoin and dividing it by the 200 day moving average value. We take this a step further and display various prices that represent ‘bands’ of over and undervalued Bitcoin based on the multiple.
