If you installed the service just by running "zabbix_agentd.exe --install" then most likely it will look for the config file in the C:\ directory. Here is how I install agent on my Windows: 1.

4 de jul. de 2016 · When i try to start the service from services.msc in it gives me error saying: Windows could not start the Zabbix Agent service on Local Computer. Error 1053: The service did not respond to the start or control request in timely fashion.
11 de ago. de 2018 · From my experience, the most likely culprit in this situation would be an incorrect path to the config file which you defined during the agent installation. If you want to set it to something else, use the zabbix_agentd.exe --config <your_configuration_file> --install command.
10 de set. de 2013 · Error 1053 on Windows Zabbix Agent. Those are the values in my config file, but the windows agent will not start. If I change it from ServerActive to Server, or add in the Server parameter in addition to my ServerActive parameter, then it will start up.
23 de nov. de 2019 · Turns out it was an encoding issue. The include file was in UTF-8 but had a Byte Order Mark (BOM). I discovered this by opening both the main conf file plus my additional conf file in Notepad++. From within Notepad++, I chose the same encoding as the original conf file, saved, and all was well.
