The X Factor é um talent show de canto da televisão britânica. Criado por Simon Cowell, estreou em 2004 que veio como substituto do Pop Idol (criado por Simon Cowell e Ryan Seacrest). Desde então, tem sido transmitido anualmente entre os meses de agosto/setembro a dezembro.

The X Factor is a television music competition franchise created by British producer Simon Cowell and his company Syco Entertainment. It originated in the United Kingdom, where it was devised as a replacement for Pop Idol (2001–2003), and has been adapted in various countries.
