During a round, doing various actions will grant EXP for the character you are playing as. In a survivor team, the person who accumulated the most EXP will be crowned as the MVP at the end of the round.
Once enough EXP is gained, the character you were playing as will level up. Reaching certain levels will give rewards pertaining to the character.
Reaching level 10 and the maximum amount of EXP will allow you to Prestige a character. Prestige resets your level back to zero, advances you to the next Prestige tier and allows you to gain EXP for the character again.
There are currently 6 Prestige tiers, namely:
•☆ Bronze or P1
•☆ Silver or P2
•☆ Gold or P3
•☆ Platinum or P4

Generators •Repairing generators: •20 exp for survivors with 5 or more repair •10 exp for survivors with 4 or less repair •Hitting skillchecks: •5 exp per skillcheck •10 exp for double skillcheck •15 exp for triple skillcheck •Completing a generator: 100 exp Chased •Bold: 5 exp •Being in chase: 35 exp •Escaping chase: 75 exp Support •Revived a survivor: 50 exp •Healed a survivor: Up to 100 exp •Safe rescue (The revived survivor stays alive for at least 20 seconds after being picked up): 50 exp •Protection hit: 100 exp Stealth •Avoiding detection: 60 exp Miscellaneous •Disarming Ice Trap: 30 exp
