Bill Nighy (12 de dezembro de 1949) é um ator inglês, intérprete de Rufo Scrimgeour em Harry Potter e as Relíquias da Morte: Parte 1. [2] Nighy também é conhecido por seu papel em Piratas do Caribe, onde interpreta Davy Jones, assim como o rei vampiro Viktor na série Anjos da Noite.
Nighy had already worked with director David Yates twice, and with the majority of the Harry Potter cast in previous films. He has said of his role as Rufus Scrimgeour that it meant he was no longer the only English actor not to be in Harry Potter .
Bill Nighy (born 12 December 1949) is an English actor, who portrayed Rufus Scrimgeour in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1.[2] In July 2009, Bill Nighy announced that he got the role of Rufus Scrimgeour.
He has also made a habit of working on television with Harry Potter director David Yates: projects together include State of Play (2003), The Young Visiters (2003), The Girl in the Café (2005) and Page Eight (2011). Nighy won a Golden Globe for his performance in Gideon's Daughter (2005).
