1960s Gibson SG Special. Tony bought this guitar in a music store in Birmingham in 1967, and used it as a backup for the Fender Stratocaster that was his main at the time. After the Strat broke during the recording sessions of Black Sabbath, Iommi picked up the SG and finished the album with it. He never went back to that Fender.

Guitars used here were mostly the Iommi Custom Shop SGs, the P94 loaded Epiphone Iommi SG, a Fender Telecaster, a Fernandes Sustainer and the Strat. The acoustic parts were played on a Taylor 815L, a Gibson J 50 and an Epiphone PR 350CE.
