Synopsis. In 1940 New York City, a man known as Kid Colors (Burt Remsen) is tortured and killed as retribution for his role in swindling $500,000 from Doyle Lonnegan (Oliver Reed), a crooked banker from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Details. It's twist after twist as Gondorff (Jackie Gleason), Hooker (Mac Davis) and Countess Veronica (Teri Garr) try to out sting both Doyle Lonnegan (Oliver Reed), the notorious gangster previously stung by this group and now out for revenge and profit, and Macalinski (Karl Malden), a local racketeer.
