The Keeper of the Bell (real name unknown) is a minor character featured in the Hilda TV series and Hilda Tie-In Series. He is in charge of manning one of the many bell towers that are build into the wall around Trolberg. The character does not appear in the graphic novels.
14 de dez. de 2020 · The bell keeper there admits he saw a troll last night that stole his sandwich. Hilda remembers the circle of trolls, and leads Erik and Gerda to it. At this, Erik stops to pose for some photos, but fails to realize the sun is setting.
14 de dez. de 2020 · When she gets to the bell tower, she is in for an unpleasant surprise; the bell tower has been automated. A mechanical bell keeper rings the bell every hour. The human bell keeper finds Hilda snooping around.
He had to write in a father character that hadn't been there before, so he hinted at the bell keeper but held off on the big reveal, until later he thought of a better way to do it with a different character and here we are.
25 de ago. de 2022 · The mystery of whatever or not the bell keeper is related to Hil... Based on one of my favorite scenes from Treasure Planet! I really liked how this turned out!

- In The Old Bells of Trolsberg episode, the keeper is seen surprised to see Hilda and her mom. This could just be that he's happy to see she's happy but you know... - He took the job of bell keeping to eye the plains of the country but more specifically at Hilda's House making sure they're okay.
