20 de jun. de 2016 · North has recreated the visual identity for Tate, refining the logo’s dot concept and making it more functional and dynamic. The logo is now used across all four Tate galleries and inspired by different art installations.

History. Bankside Power Station. The Turbine Hall. After sharing the Millbank site with Tate Britain for many decades, since 2000 Tate Modern has occupied the converted former Bankside Power Station. This was originally designed by Sir Giles Gilbert Scott, the architect of Battersea Power Station, and built in two stages between 1947 and 1963.
British graphic design legend Peter Saville created an animated visual of the Tate Modern art gallery and its new extension, using different hues to distinguish each space. The graphic was used for publicity and souvenirs ahead of the extension opening in 2016.
