Welcome to Our World Of Text Wiki. We’re a wiki about Our World Of Text that anyone, including you, can edit. Click the edit button at the top of any page to get started!
Our World of Text is an infinite grid of text editable by any visitor. The changes made by other people appear on your screen as they happen. Everyone starts in the same place, but you can scroll through the world using your mouse.
Put any letters at the end of the URL to go to a new world. For example, https://ourworldoftext.com/forexample. They all start off blank. You can also create a custom world for you and your friends.

Overview. Our World of Text uses HTML5 canvas as the core for its world rendering. HTML5 canvas allows for advanced graphics capabilities and high performance, unlike direct DOM text. A world is divided into tiles. The text content of each tile is cached as an image and is redrawn every time the content changes.
