    Offering defensive and offensive benefits, found as loot or crafted in workbenches, Armor should be an essential part of your survival kit.

    Head, Body, Gloves, and Boots are craftable in Leather, Bone, Iron and Copper varieties.

    •Gasmasks can be crafted in the Mechanical Equipment Workbench after unlocking "Blacksmith" in the Research Table

    Armors come with base stats and coils based on material; extra benefits are randomized, quantity increasing with rarity, and can come with up to 6 empty coil sockets.

    Leather and Bone can be upgraded in the Equipment Workbench.

    Armor and Inventory

    Armors upgrade with the same materials as the Inventory Bags, boosting defense and reducing weight. Inventory Bags are upgraded at the Equipment Workbench.

    Melee Weapons

    Melee weapons upgrade using most of the land-based animals in the game, with exception to the flightless birds.

    Ranged Weapons

    Ranged Weapons upgrade using bird materials.

    Inventory Bags

    •Not a tool, not armor, and not to be overlooked; the Ammo, Food, and Materials Bags control how much of each type of item you can stack.

    Knife

    •Primarily used for cutting down Bushes. Crafted in "Handmade." Required Materials: (1 Scrap Iron)

    Woodcutter's Axe

    •Primarily used for cutting down Trees, slower on other materials. Crafted in "Handmade." Required Materials: (1 Scrap Iron, 1 Small Rock, 1 Branch) •Compatible Mods: Chain Handle, Knuckle Handle, and Clamp.
