Three soft, perfectly sweet, very moist, extra coconutty, lemon scented cake layers. Each drizzled lightly with a sweet honey lemon syrup, and then generously frosted with the most delicious whipped vanilla buttercream.

Ingredients: Box of yellow or white cake mix (one box will make a 2 layer cake) 2 round 9 inch cake pans. 1 can Cream of Coconut (I used Coco Lopez) 1 jar White buttercream frosting. 1.5 cups dried unsweetened coconut flakes.

11 de nov. de 2016 · If you like angel cake, you’ll enjoy this! It is delicious, light and fluffy and SO much better for you! It’s nakey cause it doesn’t have any frosting, which doesn’t mean you can’t add your own!
10 de set. de 2020 · This Very Coconutty and Lime Naked Cake is fluffy, super easy to make and completely gluten free, as well as refined sugar free. ENJOY!
The recipe calls for the sides to be “naked” but there is a lot of filling inside to make up for that so you are not short-changed even if it looks like you will be on first sight. The toasted coconut on top is the final elegant touch making this the perfect thing to bring to a dinner party or serve at a special occasion family dinner.
