The Kunsthaus Graz, Grazer Kunsthaus, or Graz Art Museum was built as part of the European Capital of Culture celebrations in 2003 and has since become an architectural landmark in Graz, Austria. Its exhibition program specializes in contemporary art from the 1960s onwards.

The spectacular architecture of Graz Kunsthaus leaves nobody cold. Whilst it’s not common for existing, traditional urban buildings to sit so perfectly next to breathtaking new architecture, with the setting of this museum of contemporary art in Graz it’s definitely the case.

O Kunsthaus Graz, muitas vezes referido como o “Friendly Alien”, é um museu de arte contemporânea icónico localizado em Graz, na Áustria. Inaugurado em 2003, este edifício único tornou-se rapidamente um marco da arquitetura moderna.
Kunsthaus Graz. Este centro cultural fica junto ao Rio Mur, tendo uma arquitetura futurista e interessante, mas que choca com toda a arquitetura da cidade. Não deixa de ser interessante a visita ao local e recomendo, é completamente fora do comum.

The city center is the world’s cultural heritage since 1999. In 2003, Graz was chosen by the European Union as the Cultural Capital of Europe.
