With the nomination, Ishiguro became the 6th Nobel Prize recipient to earn an Academy Award nomination. Only 2 individuals, George Bernard Shaw and Bob Dylan have won both. It was also nominated for the 2022 BAFTA Award for Best Adapted Screenplay .

Kazuo Ishiguro (japonês: 石黒一雄,, Hepburn: Ishiguro Kazuo?, Nagasaki, 8 de novembro de 1954), é um escritor nipo-britânico. Ishiguro foi galardoado com o Nobel de Literatura em 2017. Suas obras foram traduzidas para mais de 40 idiomas.
