Biografia. Jennifer Connelly passou boa parte de sua infância em Brooklyn Heights, próximo à famosa ponte do Brooklyn. Durante quatro anos, ainda criança, morou em Woodstock (NY), com seus pais. De volta ao Brooklyn, estudou na Saint Ann School.

A casting director saw her and introduced her to Sergio Leone, who was seeking a young girl to dance in his gangster epic Once Upon a Time in America (1984). Although having little screen time, the few minutes she was on-screen were enough to reveal her talent.
