First Aid Kit. The First Aid Kit (FAK) is used to treat small wounds. Point the cursor at a wounded soldier. Open the action menu [Mouse wheel down]. Select treat. Confirm with [Space] to use the FAK. You can even use it on yourself.

If you then press the action key (space bar), your soldier will start patching himself up. Otherwise, you can access it via the action menu (mouse wheel), select it and use it with the action key.

You need have to have the first aid kit in YOUR inventory. Opening the scroll menu, you should see an option called "Heal Yourself". it'll also be recognizable by the "Star of Life" symbol. Hit space to select it.
